I'm Ryan H Bennett, and I'm the founder of Prime Physique Coaching.
I discovered my passion for exercise and nutrition 11 years ago on my 16th birthday. Initially uncomfortable with my own body, I became fascinated by the idea that I could control my physical appearance through exercise and nutrition. However, my pursuit of extreme results led to unhealthy states and personal battles with anorexia and binge-eating disorder.
These experiences drove me to educate myself extensively in the field. I hold a degree in Applied Sport & Exercise Science and have additional qualifications in Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, Sports Nutrition, Nutrition for Obesity & Weight-Management, and GP Exercise Referral. Over the past 7 years, I've worked with over a hundred clients, including those with brain injuries, physical disabilities, anxiety, depression, obesity, and bodybuilding goals.
I am a Physique Competitor, as I enjoy pushing myself to the extreme and aim to inspire others with a disciplined lifestyle. What sets me apart as a coach is my personal journey, education, and experience. I've made mistakes, learned from them, and dedicated countless hours to gaining knowledge. This expertise has transformed not only my own life but also that of my clients.
Currently, my primary focus is working with men aged 20-40. I've found great satisfaction in helping them realise their potential. My goal is to completely transform their lives and show them what they can achieve.

As a coach I hold myself and the service I provide to a very high standard. My goal is always to provide a service that is unmatched in the industry, I work with a select number of clients to ensure that I can consistently provide the highest level of expertise to each of my clients.
My coaching ethos is based around what I believe is most ethical and I will always prioritise your physical and mental health first. I always have your best interest at heart.
My role as your coach is to get you to your goal via the most efficient, yet safest route. My expertise is to know what to do in order for you to keep moving forwards. I am here to tell you what you need to hear, not necessarily what you want to hear at times.
I utilise an evidence-based approach that combines my academic background in BSc (Hons) Applied Sport & Exercise Science, over 10 years of practical experience working with diverse populations, and ongoing professional development through various online courses and academies. This ensures that my coaching methods are continuously refined, keeping up with the latest reliable evidence available in the field.

The best thing that I have achieved by training with Ryan has hands down been understanding of nutrition. Coming from a medical background (I am a fully trained consultant physician working in the NHS) I thought that I had a pretty good understanding of nutrition. With his style of training, I was able to continue enjoying food I loved while staying within the recommended caloric range. I could not have been more wrong. I had been counting calories but never fully understood the impact of weekly counting. I have slowly but surely stripped down fat and gained muscle. I had been training for 4 years prior to taking on Ryan as a coach and I just wish I had found him sooner.

The biggest hurdle I was able to overcome with his help has hands down been developing a healthy relationship with food and understanding and prioritising good quality sleep. Ryan was able to identify these issues fairly early on in the consultations and advised accordingly.

I look better than I ever did. The clothes fit better than they ever did and I do not feel conscious at all. Infact I have very few reservations putting on pretty much anything and everything now.

I had been going to the gym for a few years intermittently but never saw any results in my physique. Last year I decided to make a change and get a personal trainer. The best thing about getting coached by Ryan has been his understanding of my goals and the way the accountability that comes with coaching.

The biggest hurdle I have faced during coaching is going to the gym consistently and the ''all or nothing mindset'' I had and over the year I have been able to shift that mindset with Ryan's help.
What I found the biggest difference in after 1 year were my eating habits. I realised how consistently poor my diet was in terms or calories and macros and after coaching I am eating more and look way leaner than I used to and because I am eating the right foods, I am not starving myself and neither am I putting on unnecessary weight. I never even thought it would be possible for me to do bodyweight pull-ups, now I'm doing them weighted!
Since working with Ryan I have recommended him to multiple people because I genuinely like his approach towards health and fitness and he makes the process really enjoyable.
